Do I need to print labels for everything?
No. Packaged items can be scanned by their own barcode. Use QR labels for things without one, like produce or house-made items.
Where does product information come from?
From public product databases (USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) when available. You confirm it before it's saved, and you can type anything that isn't found.
Which devices does it work on?
Any recent iPhone (Safari 17 or later) or Android phone (Chrome 120 or later), and shared tablets. Staff and shoppers can add the Lister and Shopper apps to their home screen. Web Admin runs in any modern desktop browser.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Adds, check-offs and receipt photos are saved on the device and sent in order when the connection returns. Each person sees how many changes are waiting to send.
How are QR labels printed?
Web Admin builds a printable binder from your products, grouped by location, area and category. Print it on any office printer and keep it at each station, or cut labels out for shelves and racks.
Can you print the labels for us?
Yes. We can print your QR codes on binder sheets, adhesive shelf stickers or magnets and mail them. Customers order them online from Web Admin → QR & Binder; visitors can request a quote from the website.
How is our data kept safe?
Each restaurant’s data is separated from every other customer’s at the database level. Staff only see the locations and areas they work at. Receipt photos and product images are stored privately. Owners and admins sign in with email and password; staff use a PIN that locks out after repeated wrong tries.
We have several locations. Does that work?
Yes. Each location has its own areas, labels, lists and trips. Owners see ordering and weekly spend across all locations, and staff can be limited to the locations they work at.
How do we get started?
Start the 14-day free trial, add your areas, vendors and products (or import a spreadsheet), add your staff and their PINs, then print the binder. Most restaurants can run their first trip the same day.
Do you connect to our distributors or accounting?
No. There are no vendor integrations, purchase orders or accounting exports to set up. You can export history to a spreadsheet.
